Description
The lot features a wonderful Plains Native American Indian beaded drop from a Pipe Tomahawk, Tomahawk or War Club. The piece dates to circa 1880's and shows well kept condition. The drop shows a Indian tanned buckskin construction with glass trade seed beads in a traditional geometric teepee design with chalk white background. The piece has the original tie string with some minor discoloration from age and use. Total length including long fringe is 21". Bead colors include chalk white, greasy yellow, semi-transparent green, semi-transparent red, dark blue.
