Description
From a prominent collection, a Parmalee & Bonnell 6" brasstop bellbottom frame with twist off base. It has the 1871 patent date on the lid. The bail comes off the lid area and not through the vent. It has CRR boldly stamped on the bell. It has a skirted base. The glass fount has the correct curved top found on P&B New England frames. The glass fount and burner have separated from the bell. It will be carefully wrapped. There are some dings in the brass top.
The globe is a very heavy solid red with CRR cast in fancy lettering across the center. This is a taller 6" total height barrel with a 2 1/2" top diameter. The globe is very heavy.
