1804 Philadelphia Bank Check signed by Founding Father George Clymer (1739-1813) original signer of the Declaration of Independence. Clymer, Patriot from Philadelphia was an early advocate of complete independence from Britain. Tear to bank end of check, clear signature with dry quill mark on the upswing of the signature.
Condition
All autographs & signed ephemera presented here is from the Cordelia Platt autograph collection. Highly regarded in the autograph industry, Cordelia was the president of the UACC (United autograph collectors club) and a well known dealer for many years. She was official authenticator of Marilyn Monroe.
