Pre-Columbian, South Coast Peru, Nazca, ca. 125 to 250 CE. A thin-walled, round-bottomed bowl, hand-painted with a smiling faced anthropomorphic being superimposed by a zoomorphic trophy head taster or deity with wide-opened eyes and facial hair (whiskers and beard) comprised of numerous trophy heads, all in red, orange, black, grey, and white hues. Size: 4.125" in diameter x 2.25" H (10.5 cm x 5.7 cm)
