The head of this figure is a fearsome, flattened, proto-Maya style face with wide eyes and interesting incised headdress and earrings. It has been attached to a very well-formed torso and upper arms of a female captive figure from Veracruz. Wonderful details of cowrie shells, large bowls at the waist, and the hands of the figures gripping the woman give a hint to a fascinating figure whose full form we unfortunately will never know.
