Hanuman
Hanuman is a Hindu god who is manifested as a monkey and is very popular in Hinduism. He is the god of learning and the protective deity of the villages. Hanuman is the son of Anjana Apsara and the wind god Vayu Pavana or Vayu; various legends say, however, that he should be the son of Shiva. Hanuman has many magical powers or abilities. He is fast as the wind, can uproot mountains and clouds, has the stature of a great mountain, a rumbling voice like thunder and can fly. Hanuman is a slightly clumsy, but friendly and good-natured god.
