A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE 'STANDING LADIES' CANDLE HOLDERS

Each wearing brightly enamelled long robes with flower embroideries, clouds and Indian lotus rosettes, standing and looking directly forward, holding a vase that serves as a candleholder on opposite sides.

General signs of rub and wear, minor firing imperfections. Losses to the enamels.
The hair lost the black glaze.
All hands restored.
One with index finger detached and missing the thumb of the right hand. With also the inside sleeve, part pf the vase, shoulder and back hairs restored. Some retouching to the robe folds.
The other with restoration to the internal sleeve, the back hair and partial shoulders, extensive restored crack restored running from the front to the back of the lower part of the robes. Two small drilled holes to one side.
