The work is attributed to Tiberio Titi, Santi di Tito’s son. He began the training in his father's workshop operating as a collaborator.
The present painting depicts a noblewoman dressed in red with her two children. She is Maria di Cosimo Tornabuoni, a Florentine noblewoman who married the young marquis Girolamo Albergotti. The children, on either side of the woman, are two of his five children: Francis and Nerazzo.
The work is accompanied by the expertise of Elizabeth Rosai
