Bactria-Margiana (BMAC), modern day central Asia, ca. 3rd to 2nd millennium BCE. This is a bronze axe head with a characteristic curved shape and narrow socket; one end flares outward while the blade has a curved edge. Central Asia was a crossroads during this time period; people here were influenced by Iran in the west and the Indus Valley civilizations like Harappa in the east; however, they had their own distinctive bronze style.
