A handbuilt terracotta Jalisco standing female, with a characteristically wide torso and elongated head, bedecked in a turban-like headdress, large round ear ornaments painted with white details, armbands, a pectoral, and a striped skirt of red, black and white hues. Another fabulous detail on this piece is the striated tattoos or face paint adorning her visage. A wonderful example with nice manganese deposits on the surface!
