Description
ENGLISH LUSTRE CERAMIC JUGS, LOT OF THREE, comprising one jug coated in silver lustre, one jug with white ground and silver floral design around center, and one yellow jug with two odes to trust. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1820. 4 1/2" to 6 1/2" H.
Expected wear and some roughness, particularly to rims, entirely coated silver jug is undamaged, manufacturing crack on the base and exterior of one that does not impact the interior, restoration to rim of yellow jug, flake to the underside of spout, and hairline crack at rim.
Provenance: Collection of William D. "Bill" Ross, Bean Station, TN.
