ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising on teapot having blue printed "Basket, Brick and Vase" or "Adams Chinese Vase" pattern on body and cover, and one dish with brown rim and interior design of "Near Fishkill". Teapot marked with impressed "ADAMS / WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" surrounding eagle on base, dish having transfer of "Picturesque Views/ Nr Fishkill/Hudson River" stamped on back in brown pigment having two trees and a boat as well. Circa 1820. Teapot, 5 7/8" H, dish, 10 1/2" D.
Good condition. Professional restoration to crack from rim of dish to center and rim, repair to hairline cracks and damage to finial on teapot, flakes to interior flange of teapot body, hairline crack on base that does not go through to interior, hairline crack on interior that follows the foot rim but does not go through to base, and flakes off of teapot spout.
