ENGLISH PEARLWARE SPATTERWARE CERAMIC SMALL JUG, round body, having floral sponged and painted designs in orange, yellow, and brown on sides, green sponging on rim with brown painted lines and circles on top, blue sponged handle. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1810. 4 1/2" H.
Minor wear to rim, approximate 1/2" flake on inside of foot ring, minor hairline crack on base that does not go through to inside, minor hairline crack on interior wall that does not go through to outside, and several minute flakes on the end of the spout.

Provenance: From the personal collection of George and Mickey Deike.
