Description
A Russian gilded silver, guilloché and champlevé enamel sherbet spoon, Feodor Rückert, Moscow, circa 1900. The reverse of the egg shaped bowl and the handle decorated with stylized floral motifs in champlevé enamel in shades of royal blue, turquoise, lime green, mustard yellow, and opaque white, the shaped handle with similar champlevé ornament surrounding a tear-dropped shaped field enameled a bright translucent sky blue over a wavy, engine-turned ground. Struck with maker's marks and assay marks. Length: 5 1/2 in. (14 cm).
