Description
A Russian gilded silver and cloisonné enamel serving spoon, Sergei Shaposhnikov, Moscow, circa 1899-1908. The back of the ovoid bowl enameled with stylized floral motifs in shades of blue, red, green, and white, all against a stippled gilt ground within turquoise beaded borders, the handle with geometric ornament in shades of blue and red on either side, with mitre finial. Length 7 5/8 in. (19.5 cm). Gross weight 80 grams.
