Description
A Russian gilded silver and champlevé enamel spoon, Grigory Andreev, St Petersburg, circa 1895. Contained in its original silk- and velvet-lined leather-bound presentation case, the back of the bowl enameled in red, powder blue, celadon green, and turquoise stylized foliate ornament, the traditional twist handle with mitre finial, also enameled with conforming ornament. Length 6 3/8 in. (16.1 cm).
