Description

Full length, original, and featuring the standard Goodwin Granger uplocking all metal reel seat, a rod in this length is a rare find. Shaft is marked "Granger Aristocrat" on one flat, and the reel seat carries the markings "pat. Apr. 12, 1938 / Pat. No. 2,114,107 / Made By / Goodwin Granger Company / Denver". Bright ferrules, wrapped brown tipped black, the Aristocrat sat at about the middle of the range of Goodwin Granger rods. This example shows slight signs of use, but the cork is clean and may amount to nothing more than shop soiling. Goodwin Granger rods have become highly sought in recent years, and a 7'6" 3 piece rod would be a nice addition to any collection. Original bag and replaced tube.
