Description
Pre-Columbian, Lambayeque, coastal Peru, ca. 800 CE. This vessel has a stirrup handle and a lord's head decorating the spout. His headdress forms the upper part of the spout and two smaller figures sit beside the lord, gazing upon him, from the sides. The entire piece has been painted overall with a cream slip. This is a fine vessel with nice details at a great price. Size: 6.5" W x 8" H (16.5 cm x 20.3 cm).
