Description
Pre-Columbian, ca. 500 BCE to 1500 CE. This is a collection of three blackware jars of ascending size whoes simple designs compliment each other nicely. Two have very clear marks in the pottery that show how they were made. Size of largest: 5" diameter x 4" H (12-1/2 cm x 10 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Olan collection, California, by family descent, acquired 1960 to 1970.
