Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. This is a collection of three red pottery vessels, including a wide-mouthed olla and a tripod bowl. The tripod bowl has geometric radiating designs carved into the bottom of its interior. These three vessels make a nice complementary collection. Size: 7" in diameter x 3" H (18 cm x 7-1/2 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Olan collection, California, by family descent, acquired 1960 to 1970.
