Description
Pre-Columbian. Western Mexico, Colima region, ca. 300 BCE/CE. Fine pottery jar in the form of a shaman's head. Wearing a crested helmet with "flattened" horn and three horizontal ridges - 2 to the sides, one at the back. Very expressive face! Size: 6" L x 5" W x 5.5" H (15.2 cm x 12.7 cm x 14 cm)
