Roman Empire, ca. 1st century CE. Terracotta oil lamp fin buff clay with red pigment - much of which is still remaining. Center decoration consists of a running antelope with long horns, grape vines along outer rim, maker's mark on base and small loop handle. Size: 4" L x 3" W (10.2 cm x 7.6 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private New Jersey collection acquired before 1990
