Russia, 18th century CE. This is a travelling brass icon showing Christ, just taken down from the cross and being held by Mary; the words say "Weep not for me". A field of grapes on vines borders the main artwork. Size: 3.9" W x 4.5" H (9.9 cm x 11.4 cm).
