Description
Despite opening as an early second charter bank in 1882, this 1920s plain back is actually the oldest note from the bank! I am not sure what the banking environment was like in Circleville, but they really didn't do a very good job saving national banknotes. The piece offered here is from The Selvage Yard collection. It is the top note of a cut sheet of blue seals (although one note from the sheet has yet to be recorded). Again, if you value pen signatures, eye appeal, and technical grade, then you can't go wrong with this note which we believe is estimated very conservatively.
