Collectors will rejoice at the chance to add a new California town to their holdings. The note offered here is fresh to the numismatic market - having recently been discovered in Southern California and then consigned to our auction. It now becomes the nicer of just two notes known on this one bank town. The market for the best of the best in California nationals is starting to heat up and it will likely be quite some time before a Van Nuys note is available again. It is rare that PCGS awards a PPQ designator to a national in Fine condition. That is a strong endorsement for the quality of this banknote.
