None of the three large size notes from Stanley, Virginia have ever traded hands at a public auction. This was the sole bank in Stanley. So if you need a large example then today's offering might be your only chance to acquire one for a very long time. The note here is clearly well circulated with its most severe condition offense only being a half inch split in the bottom margin.
