Lot of 14, both albumen and early silver gelatin prints, circa 1870-1910. Including a real photo post card of group of six very young children seated on edge of boardwalk in front of ‘Story’s Cash Store’ with slightly older boy standing in doorway of store and sign advertising Roxie and items for sale in windows of store; plus what appears to be an early Chevy auto dealership with four identical Chevy sedans parked in front of large barn like building with owners or workers standing be cars. This image is 4.75 x 6.75 inches and mounted on original embossed grey card stock; plus 5 x 7 inch silver print of a Massachusetts ship yard with two wood hulled schooners under construction, likely in Essex, Mass.; plus a 6.5 x 8.5 inch silver print from WWI showing large group of soldiers, sailors and marines standing in front of O.H.P. Sargent GAR Post 152 building, in Essex Massachusetts, several are holding flags and two gentleman in center is a Civil War veteran wearing GAR uniforms with a few civilians in background; plus 6.5 x 9 inch silver print of young lad in horse drawn carriage; plus 4.75 x 7.75 inch silver print town view of Essex, Mass. Marked in negative ‘Essex, Mass. The Old Bridge’ with ‘Belmont Clothing Co.’ building in background; plus real photo post card of gentleman in horse drawn carriage; plus 3.25 inch square silver print of portly farmer and his milk cow; plus five more images. All of these images were found near Essex, Massachusetts.
