Lot of 11, all circa 1870-90, and found in Massachusetts, including a very unusual image of two boys, each on rare high wheeled tricycles, speeding down a country road with stone wall in background, image is 3.75 x 4.5 inches on original 4.25 x 5.5 inches card stock; plus cabinet card of group of 11 gentlemen, seated on or below New England stone wall, unusually all are wearing bowler hat, one with woven basket and two holding puppies in their laps; plus five 4 x 5 inch photos of a farmstead, including gable end view frame home with buggy in front, nice rural scene of dirt road with split rail fence bordering and gateway, likely on opposite side of road from farmstead, rear view of same home with split rail in foreground, front view of same home with attached outbuilding and same buggy in front and frame barn at right, and front view of the framed barn, found near Newburyport, Mass.; plus two 3.4 x 4. 35 inch photos on 5.5 x 6.5 inch embossed card stock showing a frame story & a half shop on unpaved Main Street of small Massachusetts town, flanked by larger buildings. This shop is draped in U.S. flags and patriotic bunting with sign above entrance reading: ‘E.P. Kimball Clothier’ and other printed signs on front advertising boots & shoes, bathing suits and other articles of clothing with horse drawn carriage parked in front and inked inscription below reading: ‘Our Clothier’; the 2nd of these images shows the same horse drawn carriage with two men and one well-dressed lady inside, but a different horse harnessed to rig with inked inscription below reading: Out for Pleasure’; plus two boudoir cards, one of graveyard and one of ivy covered frame home.
