Thailand, Ban Chiang, ca 2000 to 1000 BCE. Very early example of Ban Chiang pottery showing strong Chinese Neolithic influences. Acorn-shaped jar with rope design on shoulder and twin "horns" on opposing sides. Very fine example! Size: 7"H (17,8cm).
Provenance: Ex-private southern California collection, acquired before 2000.
