A Colima pendant and an attractive bird whistle, West Mexico, c. 250 BC - AD 250, the ceramic pendant in the form of a chick, decorated with red stripes and incised detail, suspension hole through the head, (H: 1 1/2 in, 3.8 cm). The ceramic whistle in the form of a toucan, nicely detailed with remains of red pigment, (2 1/4 in x 2 1/2 in, 5.7 x 6.3 cm). Both intact with light deposits. Ex Malter Galleries, Encino, Ca.
