Description
SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE CANNER, salt glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity. Ovoid form with two incised shoulder rings and a flared mouth with a slight inner ledge. Brushed cobalt tulip and leaf decoration repeated twice. Probably Rockingham or Highland Co. 1860-1880. 9 1/4" H, 3" D rim, 5" D base.
