An attractive redware pottery bowl of the Wingate Red-on-Black type with an intricate, black-painted decorative program within the basin. The patterns consist of jagged linear motifs and solid black and stripe-filled zigzag designs while the middle of the basin is left unadorned and provides an intriguing void in the otherwise densely decorated area.
