Description
World War II-era Polish enamel on steel electrocution warning sign, 9.75 x 6 in. bearing the image of a skull and crossbones, with a red 'shock' arrow through it to indicate the danger of electrocution. It also reads, in Polish: 'Nie dotykac! Urzadzenie elektryczne!' ('Do not touch! Electric device!'). Shows chips and deformation around the mounting holes, underlying oxidation, and some soiling, else very good. Not at all unlike the signs used about electric fences, etc.
