Description
(1910 - 1945) German SS commander of the SS Cavalry Division Florian Geyer who led the division during the fighting in Budapest. Rumohr was a recipient of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. He was seriously wounded during the attempt to break out from the city. Faced with surrender to the Red Army, Rumohr committed suicide on 11 February 1945. Scarce A.D.S. 1p. 4to., Wismar, July 17, 1935, appears to be regarding family business and mentioning a family member, addresses, a doctor and a guarantor. Boldly penned on graph paper. File holes to left margin, a small loss at top right corner costing a tiny bit of text, else very good.
