Van Ryper model of the Grace Lines Santa Paula mounted on a simple wood base. The Santa Paula launched in 1932 was designed by William Francis Gibbs and featured his signature winged funnels. This 8" waterline model is unusual for a Van Ryper of this scale with raised bulwarks and additional detail. The model is in exceptional condition.
