Condition
The mug and smaller jug are both in good condition, save for a short semi-circular crack in the rim of the mug, which may have occurred during manufacture. With typical crazing to the glaze.
The larger jug: The spout including a small section of the rim has been broken and restuck. This is just visible in the catalogue photo. An associated hairline approximately 5cm long runs diagonally from the rim to the shoulder of the jug above the portrait of Nelson. Otherwise, there are two small and shallow chips to the outer edge of the rim, one of which has an associated short crack and a tiny shallow loss to the interior rim at this point. There are several tiny glaze losses and scratches to the body, none of which are significant.
