Impressed English hallmarks to each silver element. Jug inscribed 'Prize Jug Grittleton Ploughing Match 1839 Presented by Joseph Neeld Esq.'

Condition
Both examples with various firing lines and manufacturing flaws to the ceramic portions. Mug with spidering lines to the base. Silver mounts with light surface scratches typical of age, use and polishing. Some dings and stubborn tarnish spots.
