Description
Ancient Near East, Anatolia, Mesopotamian, Sumerian, Babylonian, and Gandharan, ca. 4th to 1st millennium BCE. A set of 5 hand-carved stone artifacts from across the ancient Near East. An Anatolian eye pendant exhibits a pair of drilled 'eyes' on the verso, and a Gandharan lapis lazuli stamp seal shows a hound in front of a trident.
