A GEORGE III SILVER TEA CADDY
by Charles Aldridge & Henry Green, London 1785, incuse duty mark, oval, the flat-hinged domed cover with an urn-form finial, the plain sides with beaded borders. 13.5cm high, 13.7cm long, 9.8cm wide, 13.5 troy ounces
The marks on the underside are clear. The cover is marked with a lion passant. The hinge is in good condition, and the lid closes well. A lock is in place but without a key. No engraving. Some minor surface wear but generally in good condition.
