A Meissen figure of a Hungarian woman, circa 1750
Probably modelled by P. Reinicke and J.J. Kaendler, wearing a bonnet with pink ribbon, a fur-lined green cape, a puce bodice with pink and gilt flowers, and a long dress decorated with flower sprigs and edged in gilding, 21.8cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear edge of base (right little finger and left forefinger restored, tip of right forefinger chipped, minor chips and restoration to applied leaves on base)

Condition
The little finger on the right hand is restored and the tip of the forefinger is broken off (traces of old overpainting visible). The forefinger on the left hand is restored.
There is some very minor scattered wear to the gilt border around the bottom edge of the dress, and some very minor wear to the gilt foliate bands at the front.
There are some typical minor chips to the leaves applied to the base and traces (old) restoration to two leaves.
Otherwise in good condition.
