Margaret Mitchell Rare TLS Mentioning "Gone With the Wind"

Margaret Mitchell (1900-1949). Typed Letter Signed, "Margaret Mitchell Marsh", 1p, on her embossed personal stationery, 7.25" x 11", Atlanta, Georgia, November 1, 1937. Expected folds and light creases. Overall, in near fine condition.
Composed approximately sixteen months after the debut of "Gone With the Wind", Mitchell responds to a reader's request for a signed copy: "I cannot autograph your book, as you requested. I have not inscribed a copy since last December, not even for my family and lifelong friends. At that time 'Gone With the Wind' had sold a million copies and I had had almost an equal number of requests for autographs...I felt that if I could not inscribe the copies of all who desired autographs it would not be right to autograph a few..." Margaret Mitchell signed letters mentioning ?Gone With the Wind'' are very rare.
