[May I suggest you get in touch with him to indicate your choice] He'll get in touch about your choice of dates during that week. Barry Morris Goldwater (1909-1998) was an American politician who served as a United States senator from Arizona between 1953 and 1965, and again from 1969 to 1987. In the interim, he was the Republican Party's nominee for president in 1964, for which he received an endorsement from Reagan. Goldwater is widely credited by historians as having laid the foundation for a conservative revolution and conservative takeover of the Republican Party, which in term helped to bring about the presidency of Ronald Reagan in the 1980s.
