Description

This 5" x 2 1/2" piece of cabin from the decommissioned USS Brooklyn was taken on May 10, 1889 from the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The USS Brooklyn was first commissioned as a sloop of war in 1858, having service throughout the Civil War. CONDITION: pasted label appears to be in good overall condition. PROVENANCE: Martin Lane Historic & Western Americana Lifetime Collection. (02-21520/JS). $200-300.
