Description

Incredibly rare Circa 1860 wood and leather top ships doctors chest from Civil War Ship USS Manhattan, includes 12 original hand blown gold stenciled bottles and a handwritten list of contents on underside of lid. Chest is with brass reinforced edges and is in good condition for its age, bottles all have original glass caps, a few have minor chipping but overall an ultra rare opportunity to buy a one of a kind set!! Comes out of the former Dan Hardesty Museum. Chest is 14 1/2 in Long 11 in wide 12 in tall.
