This lot contains 1 white buff leather belt, likely of English origin, with a snake buckle closure. / 1 US M1832 sword and partial scabbard. The sword measures 20” overall with a severely cut-down 14” blade. The hilt has had the rivets removed and the pommel damaged by peening. The original scabbard has only 14” of its length remaining; however, the white buff frog is present. / 1 Post-Civil War leather cartridge box. / 1 Over-the-shoulder leather shot pouch. CONDITION: the belt is generally in solid condition with minimal staining. The sword should be considered a relic with a dark, pitted blade and misshaped hilt.
