JOHANN MARESCH (AUSTRIAN, 1821-1914) CERAMIC BLACK AMERICANA / ETHNIC FIGURAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF THREE, comprising an example featuring a woman sitting on stump and holding a tambourine and two depicting a figure wearing a top hat and sitting on top of a rectangular log or bundle of logs. Each having impressed "JM" and numerals to underside. Johann Maresch, Austria or Czechoslovakia. Second half 19th century. 9 5/8" HOA.

Figure on single log undamaged, having some scattered glaze wear, and possible minor paint touch-ups; woman mostly undamaged, having a minute flake to dress on base and possible paint touch-ups; figure sitting on bundle of logs having glued repair to top flange with related chip/loss, base having a chip and some minor scattered flakes to rim interior, and moderate paint touch-ups.
