Description
CONTINENTAL CERAMIC FIGURAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF THREE, comprising one head-form example featuring a monkey or ape wearing a small hat which is a sponge holder to underside, one example featuring a young woman recumbent on a stack of cigars, and one depicting a sultan sitting cross-legged beside a short table to top and wearing a turban. Marks to underside include one impressed "FGW" and "1087". F. Gerbing Witwe, Bodenbach, Bohemia; and others. Second half 19th/early 20th century. 10 5/8" HOA.

Monkey's hat having T-shaped hairline; sultan example a minor flake to underside of top and some very minute scattered flakes to base rim; young woman having a glued repair to leg.
