Description
This particular example of a Hoyt clockwork picture is much rarer than the African-American man often seen. The Victorian lady changes expression via the clockwork mechanism as her eyes and mouth move. This is an original example that has not been electrified, working off a clockwork mechanism. It is in the original frame with the original lithography, working flawlessly. CONDITION: The display shows some areas of wear and staining from age, but nothing that distracts from the overall look of this early clockwork picture. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. Condition: (Good - Very Good) Dimensions: 26 1/2" x 22"
