Description
Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 800 BCE. A set of 2 spear tips of lengthy forms. The first spear tip exhibits an elongated petaloid form and is cast from bronze while the longer, cast-bronze spear tip features a tapered tang and a thick midrib running the length of the blade head. Both are covered in layers of naturally-occurring patina in hues of green and brown. Size of largest: 18.5" L x 1.625" W (47 cm x 4.1 cm)

Each artifact with light abrasions, with bending to tang of longer spear tip, otherwise intact and very good. Great patina throughout.
