A Songye N'kisi Magic fetish pictured in a 1960's Field Photograph from the Institut des Musées Nationaux du Zaire ( Institute of the National Museum of Zaire ) of the very same actual fetish is use by a young diviner or "Nganga".This figure was photographed in the field by C. Henault, an Institut des Musées Nationaux du Zaire (IMNZ) field collector and expert. The photo is of a young Songye diviner in training with an Nkishi in each hand that he used in divination, and the larger community figure that he cared for, that made its way to famed explorer Jean Pierre Hallet's collection in the 1980's. The Sculpture measures 30 inches tall x 6 x 6 inches wide and deep.
